Who we are
GreenhouseGrid ("we", "us") operates GetGreenhouseGrid.com. Contact: hello@getgreenhousegrid.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you join the early-access list, we store:
- Email address — required, so we can contact you
- The greenhouse you're considering — optional, free text
- Approximate budget range — optional
- ZIP code — optional, used to understand climate and regional demand
- Whether you want price alerts — optional
If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address and message.
Information collected automatically
We record basic technical and usage information: pages viewed, which buttons and form fields were interacted with, the referring website, UTM campaign parameters, browser user agent, and an approximate country/region derived from your IP address.
We use a random session identifier stored in your browser's sessionStorage so
that events within a single visit can be counted as one visit. It is discarded when you
close the tab.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and runs no third-party advertising or tracking scripts. Analytics are first-party: the events described above go to our own database and nowhere else.
Why we collect it
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Email address | Notify you at launch; send price alerts if you asked for them |
| Greenhouse model | Decide which products enter the database first |
| Budget range | Understand which price segment to build for |
| ZIP code | Understand climate context and regional demand, in aggregate |
| Usage events | Work out whether the page is understood and whether the idea is worth building |
Under GDPR terms, our legal basis is your consent (for the list) and our legitimate interest in understanding whether people want the product (for aggregate usage measurement).
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not share your email address with greenhouse retailers, manufacturers or installers.
- We do not send unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to any list you didn't ask for.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.
If we ever publish aggregate market data, it will be aggregated and anonymized — never individual records.
Who processes it
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and data is stored in Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf as a service provider.
Email is sent through Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.), which processes your email address on our behalf solely to deliver messages we send you. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not upload our list anywhere else.
What email you'll actually get
- A confirmation when you join the early-access list.
- A message when GreenhouseGrid launches.
- Price alerts, if you asked for them, once that feature exists.
That is the whole list. No newsletter, no drip sequence, no unrelated marketing. Reply "unsubscribe" to any of our emails, or write to hello@getgreenhousegrid.com, and we will remove you immediately.
How long we keep it
Early-access signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, or until the project is discontinued. If GreenhouseGrid is shut down, the signup list is deleted rather than sold or transferred. Usage event data is retained for up to 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or export it. Email hello@getgreenhousegrid.com and we will action it within 30 days. No justification needed — asking is enough.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under GDPR, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.
Children
This site is intended for adults purchasing greenhouses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top, and email anyone on the list if the change affects how their data is used.
